12 May ’24 Dick Coates Memorial Shoot

Time: 8:00am Muster for a 8:30am Shoot Start
Shoot Cost: $15 for Adults, $10 for Cubs and Juniors
Shoot and Lunch Cost: $20 for Adults, $15 for Cubs and Juniors (includes food and a soft drink)

This special shoot is held in loving memory of the late Dick Coates, a long-time Grange Bowmen Inc. member who had a passion for Longbows and enthusiastically inspired others to do the same.

All styles are welcome to attend however you must shoot a Longbow to claim victory and the title of the 2022 Dick Coates winner!

Shoot Type: The Dick Coates Memorial Shoot consists of three rounds

Round 1: 3D Target Field Range
Shoot 2 rounds through the 21 target range, shoot only 1 arrow per round, with the archers best scouring round counting towards the official overall score

Round 2: The 25 Yard Steel Pig
High risk round for high reward. Are archer may choose to shoot either the Steel Pig or 3D Target, with the Steel Pig scoring 40 points and the 3D Target scoring 20 points

Round 3: The Kudu Walkup
Shoot 3 arrows, 1 at 60 yards, 1 at 40 yards and 1 at 20 yards
